River Lily Inn Romantic Historic River Venue Setting
The romantic setting of the Historic Victorian Estate River Lily Inn is complemented by an English Tea Room. It is located on one and a half acres of lawn and Tropical Gardens, directly across from the Intracoastal Halifax River.
There are 3 spacious lawn areas shaded by established live oak trees. There is space to seat 150/200 guests on the front lawns.
By renting the facility you are able to utilize the English Tea Room, plus all the grounds including the patio by the Romantic Heart-Shaped Pool with a waterfall plus an Enchanting Fountain/Tropical Garden.
Any of these locations would make your event uniquely memorable. We have a complete list of approved vendors to assist in every aspect of your wedding/event.
The enclosed pool area can comfortably host up to 35 guests, before or after the ceremony or reception. If you combine the fountain garden this will easily host additional 45/50 guests.
With a separate paved area suitable for a bar, small band, or DJ setup with a dancing area.
The River Lily Inn has 7 individually decsigned customized en-suite rooms.
One is the oversized elegant River Lily Honeymoon Suite overlooking the grounds and river, with access to a Verandah, a double-person hot tub, and a private seating area.
Overnight Guests are entitled to a full hot breakfast, all coffee, tea, water, soda, ice cream & snacks.
Lodging and Estate Options
Single night or Two-night stay
Single Night - Included in all selected wedding packages is a reservation for the Harbor Breeze on the day and evening of the wedding. This is a first-floor ADA room, which will provide an additional restroom for your guests to use, along with ramp access for those who may need assistance.
Two Night - If your group looks to book all 6 rooms in the main house and Single Bedroom Carriage House Apt for a two-night stay, this will permit exclusivity of the entire estate. Allowing time to decorate, plan and prepare for the event.
Plus providing ample time to relax, catch up with family or enjoy visiting.
River Lily Inn Bed and Breakfast can comfortably provide lodging for up to 16 individuals, ideal for wedding parties.
There will be a substantial discount on the wedding venue fee, once your wedding package is established including Lodging.
Wedding Packages - We do not offer cookie-cutter price menus, each wedding is customized. Please contact us to discuss your dream wedding.
Starter Package - To utilize the grounds for mini-weddings (up to 4 hours) starts at $1,200, for up to 30 guests.
For larger groups, we can customize your needs once we understand your thoughts.
Keep in mind this venue is perfect for Bridal Showers, Bachelorette Parties, Rehearsal Dinners, Wedding Receptions, and accommodation to enjoy family breakfast post-wedding get-togethers.
